Invisalign is Preferred by Young People

Transparent plate treatment is a treatment method used from the age of 7. The new generation’s predisposition to technology is very effective in their adoption of this treatment and in fulfilling the treatment requirements in a harmonious manner. We start the process by showing images of your teeth on the screen, based on the measurements we took digitally. Of course, even before we say anything, they instinctively start touching the screen, zooming in on their teeth, and examining them from multiple angles.

They can see on their own computers how their treatment will be and how their teeth will be fixed with which plaque.

Transparent plate treatment (Invisalign) is preferred by young people. Another reason why young people prefer transparent plate treatment is that it is an aesthetic form of treatment. It is almost unnoticeable at speaking distance. Moreover, since it is removable, it can not be worn for a few hours on special occasions (important exams, shows, graduations, etc.). For this reason, although this treatment is known as orthodontics without braces, it can sometimes be called ‘invisible braces’ or ‘invisible braces treatment’. For our pediatric patients, we can add fun to their treatments with stickers specially produced for aligners, if they wish. They can use stickers in many different patterns and colors differently on each record. In addition, brushing teeth and ensuring continuity of oral hygiene is another reason for preference. If the bottom of the wires and the edges of the brackets are not cleaned well and plaque is left behind, it can cause permanent staining along with demineralization on the tooth enamel in the long term. For this reason, our patients need to brush their teeth more carefully and for longer periods of time, especially during braces treatment. However, in transparent plaque treatment, also known as wireless dental treatment, the fact that the plaques can be removed while brushing your teeth makes brushing much easier.
